A payments network gives you free-reign to takeover an entire subway station. How do you maximize the impact? Piece of cake. Highlight the plethora of contactless payment methods available on said network.

The concept was simple. Tap. How do you convey the versatility and simplicity of contactless payments on public transit? Easy. Show it. Leveraging phone, card, and wearable tech to illustrate the ease of payment. All while the cardmember earns rewards.

Taking full advantage of the entire station’s real estate, designs were developed for both print and digital placements. This included turnstiles, animated triptych screens, stairwell soffits, and 2-panel framed posters. Special care was taken to limit the use of white backgrounds to prevent the temptation from graffiti artists to tag the ads.

The internal agency at Discover Financial Services was tasked with one simple ask: make a campaign that shows how easy it is to pay on the Discover Global Network. The answer was simple.
